YAOS is one of the foremost musical theatre production companies in the Yeovil region and has won over 20 national awards in the last 25 years.
YAOS produces two shows a year - during March and October - at the Octagon Theatre Yeovil in Somerset. The Octagon Theatre seats 620 and has one of the largest stages in the South West. There is also a Café Bar where theatre-goers can enjoy a relaxing meal or snack before the show, as well as a licensed bar and an outside terrace.
A flow of enthusiastic performers and supporting members from the Somerset and Dorset area, willing to devote huge amounts of their own time, put on an array of dazzling shows. YAOS generally appoints professional directors, which is reflected in the high standards achieved. We also employ a professional orchestra, sound and lighting crew.
