Edwards House

YAOS is very fortunate to have its own 'home' known as Edwards House. This was purchased with money left to us by generous benefactors John & Olive Edwards. We have recently completely refurbished the property, raising the roof, putting in new windows, heating, electrics and adding an extension for a workshop/storage area. The exterior has been resurfaced with tarmac for car parking, new perimeter fences erected and disabled facilities provided.

Edwards House is where we rehearse, have meetings, make and store props, costumes and scenery.  The overall size of the rehearsal area is over 2100 sq ft, nearly the size of the Octagon stage. The premises are also available for hire to other local performing groups.  Anyone wishing to book it can do so by calling the co-ordinator Sue McGregor on 01458 270130.
